Training built for the work ahead.

Alberta’s healthcare leaders don’t hire just anyone. They hire ABES graduates. For over 30 years, ABES has trained the professionals that Alberta’s top health care employers choose for their teams.

THE ABES APPROACH

One goal: getting you hired

See the classroom, the practicum and the people who help you get to work.

01

Taught by people from the field

ABES instructors bring years of hands-on experience from the field. Partners like Alberta Health Services, Alberta Precision Laboratories and CareWest contribute to the curriculum, and their policies and procedures are part of course training, so each program keeps up with the current standards of its field.

02

A practicum in every program

Every ABES program includes a supervised practicum placement. You spend part of your program in a working health care or social services setting, applying what you learned in class.

03

Support from first day to graduation

A kind and caring team, genuinely committed to your success, supports you from the moment you walk in the door to the day you graduate and begin your new career.
